OFFICE HOURS: Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  If the office is closed, our telephone system allows you to leave a voice mail message.

As a practical matter, there is usually someone in the office by 7:00 a.m. and there is generally someone here until 6:00 p.m. Additionally, someone will be in the office on many Saturday mornings. Don’t hesitate to call at any of these times to reach us.

VOICEMAIL: Each individual has a personal voicemail box in which a message can be left if they are unavailable to take your call or if you call after hours. There is also a general voicemail box if you do not know for whom you wish to leave a message.

E-MAIL: Each individual has their own e-mail address if you choose to communicate with them through the Internet.

ENGAGEMENT LETTERS: Why do we have engagement letters? Primarily, it helps to confirm and clarify what we expect from each other; however, it is also a requirement of our insurance carrier. If you ever have any questions about the engagement letter, please call us so that we can discuss them.

INVOICES: We generally invoice on a monthly basis or at the end of an engagement and for ongoing projects we may provide a progress bill. We provide two types of invoices. For tax returns and other specific projects where we have estimated a flat fee, our invoice will describe the services and product rendered and state the fee. The second type of invoice is for consulting services. This invoice will describe the services rendered, the date, the time incurred, the person rendering the services, and the cost of the services. It is our intention that you be provided the information needed for a clear understanding of the charges for our services.

As with any billing, it is our expectation that the invoices will be dealt with promptly. It is our policy to assess a 1% monthly finance charge for any balance overdue.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT: We are committed to providing you services as efficiently and effectively as possible. We may on occasion ask you to complete a client survey for us. We understand this will take some of your time, but we would appreciate it if you would complete these surveys and let us know how we are doing and what you would like to see us improve upon. Again, we welcome any questions, comments, or even criticisms you may have.
